What a joyous spirit my child has!

Last night we were very excited because the new Texas Roadhouse opened right by our house so we went to check it out. It was a packed house. Adilynn was in a very good mood as she usually is when we go out of the house. She is not a homebody like I tend to be, she loves to go out and see people. So she was sitting in the highchair (with the highchair cover so as not to catch any germs from the child before her, looking like a pampered princess) and just smiling and squealing at every person who walked past trying to get as much attention as she could! She was also flirting with a little ten month old boy who was behind us, she just flaps her arms, laughs and giggles. So we had a good dinner even though we were interrupted about every two minutes with people stopping to talk to Adilynn and ask us how old she is and if she is always this happy. So as I was trying to fall asleep last night (for the hour and a half that it takes me) I was thinking about Adilynn and how wonderful her personality is and how different it is then mine! She looks at everyone with a smile no matter how they look or how they look at her for that matter! Which really is the opposite of me I look at people and depending how they look at me I either smile or look away. If people are rude like the guy I mentioned before from the airplane I try to let them know I think they are rude! But not Adilynn she just tries her hardest to coax a smile out of them, to turn there day around! I just wonder what it would be like if everyone was that friendly. The other day I was in Wal-mart shopping and this women came right up to Adilynn and just started talking to her and getting in her face, of course Adilynn loved it. But I on the other hand was freaking out and thinking what the heck is this lady thinking, what if she was sick I don't know the last time she washed her hands or anything! And after a few minutes of completely ignoring me and baby talking back and forth to Adilynn (because of course Adilynn was engaging right back) she looked at me and said thank you so much, you don't know how much that just meant to me, that is exactly what I needed today (almost in tears). And after that I felt really bad for being annoyed because I don't know what that lady was going through but what a wonderful blessing that Adilynn could take her mind off it for a moment and make her feel better. I just know that Adilynn is truly a blessing from the Lord and brings us and other so much joy. What a true gift it is to be able to care for this little girl who has the most wonderful joyous spirit that I often wish I had!

She is so so cute! She is getting big! I know she is a blessing. Thank God for little babies. A lady told me they are the closest to God because it hasn't been that long ago that they were with him and they have the most to share from him...
